'Samyangphung' is the combination of two Limboo words - 'Samyang', which means gold and 'Phung', which means flower. In essence, the term Samyangphung denotes pride, purity and strength. Penned by young indigenous poet from the Himalayan State of Sikkim, Sanjay Sawaden Subba, 'Samyangphung' is a collection of ethnic poems inspired by rich Limboo culture, identity and heritage. The poet deals in vivid moods encompassing a wide range of subjects classified under the categories 'Ethnic Shades', 'On Love', 'Motivational Strokes', 'On Sorrow', 'On Nature', 'Observation' and 'Of Memories'.
