This book highlights Losoong as one of the most significant festivals celebrated annually by the Sikkimese Bhutia (Lhopo) community, both within Sikkim and among those residing elsewhere. The festival and its traditions are presented in simple, accessible language. In addition, the book offers special insights into related observances such as Guthuk (Pakthuk), Gutor (Losikurim), the rituals of Namgang, as well as the practices of Nyenpo Gujom and Sipaho.
